Nathan has missed the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrrey Pines after a second round of 71 on the South Course saw him miss the cut by just one shot. 

Birdies at two of his last four holes were still not good enough to get him across the line and he will now play next week's Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club at Pacific Palisades in California.
